Read time - 2 minutes / Disclaimer

Today let's review how to get a free college degree.

Getting a free degree can:

• Lower your stress.

• Help you avoid loans.

• Earn you more money.

Unfortunately, many people think student loan debt is the only option.

Free Degrees Aren't Common

Most people don't know they can earn a free degree.

There are many reasons for this including:

• Loans are a normal thing.

• Banks profit from student debt.

• Free degrees aren't talked about.

Fortunately, there are new ways to address college and a career.

Here's how to get a free college degree:

Step 1: Work Before College

Consider working several jobs before college.

It's a good way to identify what you're good at. You also figure out what you're not good at.

Step 2: Pick a Degree

If you decide to go to college.

It's easier to pick a degree after working different jobs.

What you enjoy and what you dislike doing becomes much clearer.

Many people go to school in their later 20s, 30s, 40s, etc.

Step 3: Find Tuition Benefits

Here are a few ways to get a free or inexpensive degree:

Employer Programs

Many large employers pay between $5,000 and $10,000 of your school costs each year.

You can work for one of these companies while going to school online.

Most people go part-time and stay under their company's annual limit.

Here's a few companies that offer these benefits:

• Amazon

• Apple

• AT&T

• Chipotle

• Home Depot

• Geico

• UPS

• Wells Fargo

Special Agreements

Some schools partner with employers.

The University of Arizona has partnered with several employers to offer free online degrees.

And you don't need to live in Arizona.

They have agreements to get a free degree online with:

• Chase

• Verizon

• T-mobile

• Fedex

• Pepsi

Plus many more.

Look for employers participating in the "Full Tuition Grant" via the University of Arizona Website.

Non Profit Schools

There's alternative options as well.

Tuition-free schools like University of the People is a good example.

It's an international online school based in California and is open to students worldwide.

There are some fees to pay but much less than a traditional school.

That's all for today.

See you next week.
